Nancy L. Vaughan, CPA

Ms. Vaughan has been a shareholder with the firm since 1987, having first gained experience with the tax department of a national accounting firm.  Her focus at AVA has been to assist construction companies, small to mid-size businesses, and local governments to achieve long term financial health through quality financial information processes.  Ms. Vaughan draws on experience gained through personal business development as well as a variety of client experiences.

Ms. Vaughan also directs the tax services offered to individuals.  By developing quality personal relationships with clients at all levels of financial success, AVA has acquired a reputation of providing superior services in the area of tax planning and compliance.

Deborah F. Fraser, CPA

Shareholder

Director of Nonprofit and Homeowners Association Services

Ms. Fraser has thirteen years experience providing audit, accounting and tax compliance services to nonprofit organizations, homowners associations, and local governments.  During her career, she served as the CFO of a large nonprofit organization, gaining invaluable experience in the particular problems associated with managing a large workforce along with maintaining financial integrity.

Ms. Fraser also served two years as a consultant with a government/nonprofit software company where she gained experience in developing and implementing software solutions for small to mid-size organizations, and training staff to operate and maintain the software processes.

Ms. Fraser leads AVA in community service, ensuring the entire staff provides quality service through various volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
